A Hint of Color — Mixed Media Muse

Create a mixed-media portrait of an adult woman combining precise graphite drawing with a few translucent color accents. Draw the face with fine pencil lines, natural proportions, and carefully controlled tonal shading. Let a loose wash of muted rose, ochre, and sage extend through the hair and beyond one shoulder, while keeping the eyes and mouth unobscured. Use visible paper texture and soft watercolor edges that contrast with crisp graphite details. Leave generous negative space and a few unfinished outer lines. Maintain one coherent light source and make the color feel intentionally placed, not randomly splashed over the face. OUTPUT: Vertical 4:5 composition with a clear focal point and clean edges. If a reference photograph is supplied, preserve the adult subject’s recognizable features while applying the described art treatment. Avoid duplicated features, extra fingers, malformed anatomy, watermarks, logos, and accidental text. The preview image is an inspiration reference; results may vary.
